McCormick

Tractor production began in 1949 in Doncaster, with the first Farmall M rolling off the production line on 13 September. But the company’s timeline stretches all the way back to 1931.

McCormick Tractors International Ltd was formed in 2001, with the Argo Tractors Group buying the firm’s St Dizier, France, facility the same year.

Argo Tractors decommissioned McCormick’s Doncaster facility in 2007, and moved the production of all models out of the UK.

It now produces a comprehensive range of 43–310hp models, including the new X8 VT-Drive, X7.6, X6.4 VT-Drive, and P6 models, all with Stage V engines.
